Pride Nite and when will it take place?
Pride Nite is an after-hours celebration of the LGBTQ community and its allies at Disneyland Park. There will be live entertainment, themed food and products, special access to attractions, and a stunning fireworks display. On June 4, 2023, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Pride Nite will take place.
How Disney’s event challenges Florida’s anti-LGBTQ Policies
Disney’s Pride Nite announcement comes only days after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis promised to build a prison near Walt Disney World as part of his crackdown on social justice organizations. DeSantis has also signed other measures that limit LGBTQ people’s rights and protections in the state, such as prohibiting transgender athletes from participating in school sports and prohibiting local governments from passing anti-discrimination ordinances. Disney is sending a strong message by hosting Pride Nite that it supports diversity and inclusiveness and will not be intimidated by political pressure.

For guests of all ages and origins, Pride Nite will provide a range of experiences. Among the highlights are:
- Lady Gaga, a Grammy-winning singer and LGBTQ icon perform.
- RuPaul’s Drag Race stars host a dance party.

- A photo op with a massive rainbow castle
- A special edition of the Main Street Electrical Parade includes floats with LGBTQ themes.
- Each attendee will receive a commemorative pin and lanyard.
